1. Introduction
At Evomone® Ltd. (“we”, “our”, or “us”), your privacy and sovereignty are not just a legal requirement — they are a founding principle. This Privacy Policy outlines how we collect, use, disclose, and protect your personal data when you use the Evomone® mobile app (“App”) and our website.EvoMone does not collect or store personal or financial information. Limited technical data (such as device identifiers and app interaction events) may be processed by third-party SDKs like Meta and Kochava for app analytics and advertising attribution. This data is never sold or used by EvoMone for personalised ads.
2. Our Core Privacy Principles
- Non-custodial by design: You own your money and your data.
- End-to-end encrypted messaging: No one, including us, can access your conversations.
- No ads, no profiling, no data monetisation: Ever.
- Data minimisation: We only collect what’s absolutely necessary.
3. What We Collect (and Why)
We do not collect or access:
- Your crypto wallet private keys
- Your Bitcoin or Lightning funds
- Your message content
- Your contacts list
We may process limited data for the following purposes:
- Hashed phone number: Used for account setup & login verification
- Device information: Debugging and performance optimisation
- Anonymous usage data: Improve UX, stability, and app functionality
- Email (support only): If you contact us for help or feedback
4. Third-Party Providers
- We use services like Twilio to send verification codes. Phone numbers are hashed locally.
- MoonPay is used for fiat on/off-ramp services. Your data is handled according to MoonPay policy: https://www.moonpay.com/legal/privacy_policy
MoonPay remains responsible for AML/KYC compliance under its own policies. EvoMone provides non-custodial wallet functionality only. Cloud backup remains optional and uses AES-256 encryption for local key security.
- Push notifications may be delivered via Apple or Google services. Optional and user-controlled.
- Firebase Analytics (anonymous mode) and Plausible may be used for web analytics. Opt-out available.
- Chatbase AI assistant may log interactions on our website. Their policy: https://www.chatbase.co/privacy
5. Messaging & Data Encryption
- Messages are protected with end-to-end encryption via the Signal Protocol.
- We cannot see or store message content.
- Metadata is minimised or excluded.
6. Lightning Network & Metadata
Temporary metadata (e.g., invoice info, routing data) may be handled briefly to complete transactions, but is not stored.
7. Data Storage
- All sensitive data is stored locally on your device.
- Evomone does not upload or retain this data.
- You are responsible for securing your device and recovery phrase.
If you choose to enable cloud backup, your recovery phrase is encrypted locally on your device (AES-256, with keys stored in iOS Keychain/Android Keychain) before being backed up to iCloud/Google Drive. While encrypted, no cloud service can be considered entirely risk-free. Cloud backup is recommended only for testing or small amounts. You remain responsible for securing your 12-word recovery phrase.
8. Use by Minors
Evomone is a privacy-first, non-custodial wallet that does not track user identity or age. As such, we do not knowingly collect or store personal data from minors or anyone else.
EvoMone does not knowingly allow minors under 18 to use MoonPay or other fiat on/off-ramp services. Users must meet the age requirements set by MoonPay (18+).
Third-party services (such as MoonPay ) may impose their own age-based restrictions. Users are responsible for ensuring they meet the eligibility criteria for any service they access through Evomone.
9. Your Data Rights (UK GDPR)
You have rights under UK GDPR to access, correct, delete, or port personal data.
However, as we do not store or process most personal data, these rights may not apply.

Our website uses cookies for essential operations and anonymous analytics only.

11. Changes to This Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy as needed. Updates will be posted in-app or on our website. Continued use of Evomone constitutes acceptance.
12. Analytics, Kochava & Meta SDK Integration
We use Kochava and the Meta SDK for app analytics and install attribution. These tools help us understand basic performance metrics such as app installs, country distribution, version usage, and engagement with core features (e.g., add funds, send, or withdraw).
All data collected is anonymized and aggregated. No wallet addresses, private messages, contacts, or financial information are ever shared.
Both Kochava and Meta operate in accordance with Apple’s AppTrackingTransparency (ATT) framework, GDPR, and other global privacy standards. On iOS, analytics tracking only begins after user consent via the ATT prompt. Users can disable analytics at any time from Settings.
13. U.S. Privacy Compliance (CCPA and Similar Laws)
If you reside in California or another U.S. jurisdiction with similar privacy laws, you have the right to request access to, correction of, or deletion of your personal data.
EvoMone does not sell or share personal information. Analytics partners such as Kochava and Meta collect only anonymized, non-identifiable data in compliance with the California Consumer Privacy Act (CCPA) and other relevant U.S. privacy laws.
Where required, EvoMone includes built-in consent tools to ensure compliance with U.S. and global privacy frameworks.
